I've started rewatching MNightengales, onbe of my favourite shows of all time. Describing it as a sitcom about three nightshift security guardfs is doing it a huge disservice. It's...surreal to say the least. The first episoide (the pilot, there are some small differencesd between it and the rest of the series) mainly involves them discovering the new temp watchm,an is a werewolf and it's a full moon. It's funny and sad, often at the same time. The final episode is wonderful, a masterpiece of paranoia and has possibly the darkest ending to a sitcom I've ever seen. You certainy feel for Carter who's convinced he's set for better things than wasting his nights sat looking after an office building It's difficult to describe the series too much without spoiling stuff, it's been out on DVD for a while now and should be available dead cheap. If you like your sitcoms dark and surreal, I'd certainly recommend this one.
