Forty-two minute sinto my shift, asked five people for ID, not a single one has had it.nEDIT - as of 4:05pm - eight people, only one of whom had ID.
House inspection will be happening now. I'll just be glad it's done and I can actually relax for a bit now.
Gotten to the stage I'm not buying new iPod Touch games due to their size. Both Dungeon Hunter 2 and Puzzle Quest 2 have been released, they're both around 500Mb before installation. I'll stick with PQ2 on the netbook for now.
Another game I had a quick go on was Stalker, mainly to see if my old system could run it okay. It's playable, I played for about an hour-and-a-half, but the combination of occasional performance issues and the way my computer's set up (I have to lie on the bed with the keyboard and mouse) meant I was having difficulty controlling it well. A lot of it is I'm so used to console FPS games now and sitting comfortably in front of a big telly. Also, it's a very PC game. Not politically correct but it used a lot of keys, has some clunky interface/gui stuff. If I had a better set up, I'm sure I'd get into it, as I loved the atmosphere of what I played and yes I did see someone playing a guitar at a campfire but for now I'll be sticking with Fallout 3 and New Vegas on 360.
I will do a big Fallout New Vegas post over the weekend, I plan on spending as much of the weekend as possible playing it. So far I miss Moira Brown*, Mr New Vegas isn't as annoying as Three Dog, but is falling a little flat right now, GIANT RADSCORPION OUT OF FUCKING NOWHERE!!!!11!! and I've only sung along to one song on the radio so far, Big Iron. Already there seems to be much more scope in how you do things, one early mission gives you three ways to sort it out and I managed a way without any violence or roaming around. Which is just as well, as one of the violent options would've involved taking on a faction who don't like me and will shoot at me on sight because I dared to defend a town form them.
No radiactive mutated bears yet though. Geckos yes, bears no.
* - In my mind, Moira Brown, Alyx Vance and Tali Z'orah Vas Normandy have their own TV show, Science Genius Girls where they fight crime and monsters and stuff.
