Mystery as in, the folks took them out and realised it was my stuff. So I have...

Half my toys - which includes all my small Doctor Who figures (s1-3), the 12" Who figures that aren't Daleks, my Marvel Legends stuff, some movie Iron Man stuff, a few WWE wrestling figures and assorted bits and pieces, some of which (She-Hulk, Power Girl, Optimus Prime Mr Potato Head) I forgot I even owned.

The other box had half-a-dozen books, including The Also People, my favourite Doctor Who New Adventure, a bunch of pens and pencils and about forty A5 Doctor Who/other telefantasy fanzines, mostly from the mid nineties. Should be an interesting pile of stuff to look through.

Also brought my original modded XBox up, but I don't seem to have the cable to connect it to the telly here.

Popping to the folks for the afternoon also reminded me of how much I miss having a cat, but I can't really afford a cat and simply don't trust myself to take care of another living being.

Ok, so sorting through the A5 fanzine stash I discovered a few things. One, this is only about half to two-thirds of my A5 stash, there's also an A4 stash and two, there was two copies of Build High For Hsppiness, the short-lived fanzine I edited in 1997.

The big surprise was...one of those looked a bit odd and it wasn't until I looked I realised that what I was holding in my hands was the only printed copy of the test issue, which while having many of the same articles, had a lot more photos (which were replaced by art in the proper issue), is missing a few things (like the seventh Doctor paper-dress-up-doll) and has a few bits and pieces that never made it to the proper issue. It's all rather fascinating.
