Movie sign!
Dec. 8th, 2013 02:24 pmOk, better today, got some money from mum and ended last night with a couple of great movies.
I just loved Pacific Rim, as a big fan of kaiju movies is was great to see a take on them by someone who is also a massive fan. The mechs, oh my, the mechs. I give it BIG STOMPY MECHS/10.
Also finally saw TIm Burton's Sleepy Hollow, again, loved it. Interesting seeing it after watching the old DIsney animation and the first six episodes of the new TV series as it was fun picking up on things that were the same and echoed each other.
I'm of a mind to watch some more Burton. Alice In Wonderland's on Netflix and I've got BIg Fish and his Batmans on DVD. The forest in Sleepy Hollow reminded me of Hide.
Also going to try and deal with the movie backlog this week too, got The Wolverine, World War Z (I know) and GI Joe Retaliation (shut it) sat waiting to be viewed. Also a few older things like THe Tempest with Helen Mirren and The Imagination Of Doctor Parnassus.
