Been absolutely exhausted the last couple of weeks, got appointments for tests and a doctor in the next ten days so hopefully they'll figure something out even if it's just upping my levothyroxine again. Had to leave my volunteering at Oxfam an hour early because I was so knackered and achey. I believe you can actually hear me tailing off in the last podcast.

Been watching things -

Stripes, Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters II, Groundhog Day - for obvious reasons, also meant I finally saw Groundhog Day so another crossed off the list of movies I should really have seen by now. All excellent, all funny, the bit in the elevator in Ghostbusters still cracks me up completely.

Tucker & Dale Vs Evil - college kids go to camp out in the woods, encounter a couple of hillbillies and then start dying one-by-one. Except this movie completely reverses all the cliches and expectations and is also absolutely hilarious, a bit like a British farce with death and blood.

The Howling - hadn't seen it in ages but rewatched due to the Hammered Horror podcast (http://empty-spaces.net/hhnet/) doing it. Still really good, spotted the cameos throughtout and completely forgot Robert Picardo plays a serial killer in it.

Judge Dredd - yes, the Stallone one. Rewatching as our next podcast should be Judge Dredd Vs Dredd. There's a lot to like in the Stallone version, there's a lot of wrong, but overall still a pretty enjoyable action movie. Also...Ian Dury.

Wolfen - Just as well I wasn't playing the game where you take a drink every time a James Horner soundtrack sounds like one of his others, as I'd have been completely blootered by the end. Had also completely forgotten about naked Edward James Olmos jumping around.

Thor:The Dark World - I failed to resist saying "Have you tried turning it off and on again?" when Jane starts whacking her detector on the table in front of Chris O'Dowd. Really enjoyed it, again captures the characters of the Asgardians perfectly. I did let out a big "Oooooooh!" at the mid-credits scene because I know where they're going with this.
