Still a bit unwell, but it's just a cold now and I'm mostly coping using Lemsips and capsules. Place is a bit of a mess but in a "haven't had time to take anything other than the general and food waste bags to the bins" way rather than a bad way. They also gave us a new bin for that and we've to use the old big grey ones for recyclable stuff which is nice, I can get the large stack of cardboard put in those now.

I have two new occasional cat friends. After seeing the three legged one around quite a bit, they were sat on a wall last week and I casually eased up and scritched them behind the ears. There's also a wee grey cat who I'd seen a lot and was rather skittish, hding behind bind and corners before scooting out and away, but I've spoken to them twice now having found them on a lawns in front of the flats a couple of times.

I still try and speak to Oscar as much as possible when visiting the folks. I really miss having a cat but can't really have one of my own for a multitude of reasons, full time work being just the biggest/latest.

Doctor Who, the forest episode I was kind of loving until it took a couple of real missteps, much like the Moon episode. Loved this week's and I absolutely adored Missy and the plot points relevant to her.

I got a voucher for £12 off the electricity company, which was nice. I'll use it to bolster the extra I've been putting on to make sure a couple of rooms in the flat are nice and toasty.

I'll put this link here - http://johncarpenter.sacredbonesrecords.com/ - John carpenter's releasing a new album of music from movies that don't exist. Absolutely loving the preview track on the website and the album will be aday one purchase for me, probably in some form of physical release if they do a nifty edition.

Work's been fine, mostly coping with stuff and the late shifts last week were fun at the end due to the co-workers I was on with. Also got complimented by a customer of my use of the word finicky to describe our system's treatment of addresses.
