Friday Five
Jun. 5th, 2015 07:51 pm1. I have a job interview next week for a job in a shop, I can't even remember if it's part-time or full-time, but it's seven miles away on the bus, but easy to get to. Just means that yet again, just when my hair's getting long enough to tie back, it's going to get the chop. :)
2. Finally catching up with the various Marvel animated shows, enjoying them all, some nice references and appearances, even though anytime a Mindless One appears I think of Nextwave and fully expect someone to get a furious beatdown in a public toilet. Also, Squirrel Girl was in a SHIELD dossier.
3. I have been playing a lot of Destiny and shooting a lot of aliens in the face. THey're evil aliens though, so it's okay.
4. The new female Thor totally turned out to be who I was expecting her to be, but the comic did a good job at trying to distract me with other possibilities. Great to see she'll be a big part of the Marvel Universe once Secret Wars is over.
5. Speaking of which, Secret Wars continues and what I've read so far has actually been pretty good. There's been a Free Comic Book Day Avenegrs issue set after the event and they've started releasing teaser posters for the All-New, All Different relaunch, which I will stick under a cut.
