Having grown up with videogames, I have a huge interest in how things have evolved over the last thirty years. This is sometimes brought home when I revisit a genre I haven't played in over a decade and marvel at the difference between what I played as a kid and what I can play now. Case in point, this is how I started my fighter pilot career back in 1983 with Fighter Pilot on the ZX Spectrum.
And now how I've restarted my fighter pilot career with Ace Combat:Assault Horizon releaed in 2011 for the XBox 360.
I count myself lucky to have lived through an age where an artform has evolved from humble beginnings to the amazing experiences of 2015.
Something else amazing, I paid £7.99 for Fighter Pilot back in the day and today, because it's in a sale, I got AC:Assault Horizon for less than half that. :)
