1. What did you do in 2015 that you'd never done before?
Helped Naboo from The Mighty Boosh sort out a problem with his travelcard. No, really.
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Nope and nope.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not that I know of.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Nobody I was actually close too, but a lot of celebrities died this year who really meant something to me and really affected me. Leonard Nimoy, Christopher Lee, PAtrick Mscnee, two of my favourite wrestlers, Dusty Rhodes and Roddy Piper, so many others, but it was Terry Pratchett that actually had me in tears, I've him to thank for getting back into reading after mental issues made it difficult for some time and his books are full of life and humour that mean so much to me.
5. What countries did you visit?
I didn't leave Scotland all year.
6. What would you like to have in 2016 that you lacked in 2015?
I would have said a job, but I did have one for two weeks back in January, so I'll say decent health.
7. What dates from 2015 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Dec 11th - WWE NXT in Glasgow and Dec 17th, seeing Force Awakens with friends.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I really don't know, not letting my depression get too bad I suppose?
9. What was your biggest failure?
I suppose not being able to handle the job I had. Was entirely down to health issues, but you know, you always blame yourself a bit.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I've basically been ill all year, respiratory infections, foot trouble, hand trouble, muscle strains, kidney issues, if it's not one thing it's another. :)
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Replacement PC. The desktop I'd been using was over a decade old and falling on it's arse. Bought a chepa, bare bones PC for £150 that's great for what I need. Speeded up podcast processing and editing considerably.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My bropther Simon for organising a trip to see the wrestling in Glasgow and paying for everything, he knew I'd love to go and I hadn't made anything of it. Most fun night of the entire year. Also my friends and fellow podcasters Stephen and Andrew for not only putting up with me, but organising a trip to see Star Wars:The Force Awakens on opening day.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
The Tory government, I'll just leave it at that. Nobody I personally know has been an arse.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Food and bills.
15. What are you really, really, really excited about?
The Lego Avengers game coming out next month, there's so much awesome stuff in it and I managed to order the edition that comes with my favourite Iron Man armour as a Lego figure.
16. What song will always remind you of 2015?
This, because singing it along with hundreds of other fans in Glasgow was one of the happiest moments of the year.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder
About the same.
b) Bigger or smaller?
Slightly bigger, got bigger but am getting smaller again.
c) richer or poorer?
Poorer.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Interacted more with certain people online, between here, Facebook, Tumblr and Twitter I've really spread myself thin.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Sleep.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Spent it at the folks as usual, watching daft Christmas specials with my brother and petting the cat.
21. What was your favourite month of 2015?
This month due to movie and wrestling.
22. Did you fall in love in 2015?
Nope.
23. What was your favourite TV program?
Qi this year, as Doctor Who just didn't grab me for most of this year. Star Wars:Rebels a close second, as it was the second most Star Warsey thing this year.
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I hate the same people I hated last year considerably more. It's not anyone I actually know though.
25. What was the best book you read?
Yurei Attack!: The Japanese Ghost Survival Guide because I've had a lot of exposure to this stuff through games, movies and anime and it was great to find out all the backgrounds behind the various ghosts.
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Vowws, Australian/Iranian duo who I discovered because they did a song with Gary Numan.
27. What did you want and get?
Lego and Doctor Who DVDs.
28. What did you want and not get?
A job I can cope with and better health.
29. What was your favourite film of this year?
Star Wars:The Force Awakens. It was exactly what I wanted from Star Wars, made me feel like a giddy five year old again and avoided many of the pitfalls of modern movies too. The two year wait to find out what Rey, Finn and Poe get up to next will be torture.
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I built the Lego Ghostbusters Ecto One while listening to podcasts.
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Not feeling like my body isn't falling apart for a while.
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2012?
Same as now simple nerd or substandard Mick Foley clone depending on time of the year.
33. What kept you sane?
Friends and family, old Doctor Who, fun videogames and comics.
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
After over a decade, I still have a massive crush on Sue Perkins. Yes, I know.
(Or if we're allowed porn stars, Gianna Michaels and Siri are about equal.)
35. What political issue stirred you the most?
The British general election, because more than anything else, I did not want a majority Conservative government ruining the lives of the poor, sick and vulnerable for another five years.
36. Who did you miss?
A lot of friends, several who are probably reading this, as travelling to see people in real life is difficult these days.
37. Who was the best new person you met?
I didn't really meet anyone new this year.
38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2015.
That I can cope with a lot more than I thought I could.
39. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.
