Much better day on the whole.
Jul. 9th, 2013 08:30 pmIn a lovely twist of fate, I have today inherited a George Foreman grill. Not an original model PlayStation 3, an actual grill. Looks hardly used and cooked some burgers up a treat.
Turns out it takes a while to shuft 20Gb of data from one HD to another. Which is why I'm typing rubbish on the internet.
My only companion for much of today in the shop was a mahoosive bee. Luckily this was not a problem as it stayed the fuck over there.
Possibly just as well it was quiet as I ended up watching eight episodes of Nichijou and I would have gotten funny looks from customers due to the amount of laughter.
I was rather shocked to hear of the death of Ryan Davis, co-founder of the Giant Bomb website and associated podcasts and video feeds. I've been listening to him talk about videogames for years and his love and enthusiasm for gaming always shone through and was kind of infectious.
(This news also caused me to get a grip and perform a massive reality check last night, which is why I should have new microphones next week because I'm now more determined than ever to get a podcast started no matter what.)
Despite Terror Of The Zygons being my favouritest story, i shall not be buying the box of tat they are releasing to go with it. If it had a Fourth Doctor in his tartan, the Brig in his kilt and a Skarasen hand puppet I might have gone for it.
