Oct. 13th, 2014 09:11 amStill unwell, visited doctor this morning and got some anti-biotics and a recommendation to take today off as well since I have the next two days off anyways so hopefully time to recover. Got form to fill in and hand in to work when I go back.
Loved Doctor Who this week, could easily have been an episode from Tom's early seasons. the Doctor/Clara relationship is nicely mellowing and I loved him explaining and even joking about how he is now. Loved Frank Skinner's appearance and couldn't help thinking in his last scene that maybe there was a little more to him than meets the eye, thinking about it, The Engineer's a pretty good name for a renegade Time Lord eh?
Spent yesterday at the folks and Simon'll be coming round here Wednesday as they're working on the electric lines out there and they'll have no electric most of the day.
Still loving my 3DSXL, to be honest, I have minimal interest in any of the current gen systems and will be happy enough to stick with handheld gaming for the forseeable future, especially with things like ANimal Crossing and Monster Hunter where yes, there are objectives to get oo but most of the fun is messing around and just immersing yourself in the world of the games. Managed to link up with Simon in AC yesterdday, so ordered some of the furniture he has in his house. Je jad a lucky cat statue, I *needed* to have one!
